Red Rum

This is a really interesting piece of auto photography. It really stood out among the other pieces on the page, largely because of your use of color and contrast.

I really enjoy this concept, and the mixture of both a new car and older urban sprawl worked out well. A large part of this is how you chose an area where the red was unmatched in focus. A great location, and you framed it up pretty well. There's a great use of lines and repetition with the underpass in the background. Your choice to keep most everything in focus was a food one.

The main thing I see that could be fixed is the railroad markings at the bottom. Not only are the slightly skewed, but I really feel the image lost a bit by having that cut out of frame at the bottom. The image also feels slightly off-center due to the right pillar not being completely in frame like the left one (or vice versa). That little edge of skyline is definitely noticeable if you're going to go with a far depth-of-field like this to keep everything sharp and focused.

Overall, a great work and refreshing piece of auto photography. I could definitely see this being used in an ad somewhere. <img src="e.deviantart.com/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)" />
